#393-012: Label For Dot Spec Fire Extingishers

Per CFR Title 49, section 180.209(j), labels are allowed for the proper requalification marking of fire extinguisher cylinders. These labels offer the correct sequencing and are preprinted with the “S” after the year, signifying that a proof test was performed.
These labels are for dry chemical and Halon DOT specification fire extinguisher cylinders only and are only to be used if a proof test has been performed as part of the requalification procedure.
You are not allowed to utilize a sticker on Carbon Dioxide cylinders.
Labels are self adhesive and feature a self destruct feature if label is removed. Size is 2″ x 1.25″ and are sold 50 labels per roll.
An epoxy coating is required to cover the label.
