#393-015: Label For Visual Inspection Requalification (50/roll)

Starting in 2003 the Approvals branch of the D.O.T. allowed labels to be used to mark cylinders that are re qualified solely by the visual inspection method. This was not a change in the CFR49, but rather a variance in the marking requirement shown on the applicants approval letter. If your approval letter does not specifically state that you are allowed to mark cylinders in this fashion, then you should contact the approvals branch for a written variance allowing you to do so.
